Frequently Asked Questions
What to expect from your first appointment:
What is the difference between Osteopathy and Chiropractic treatment?:
What is functional movement screening?
How does Ultrasound Diagnostics work?
Why would I need a diagnostic ultrasound?
Is there parking onsite?
Yes, we have parking available onsite at both our Guildford and Surbiton clinics. Occasionally at peak times these car parks can be busy so should you have any concerns, please just email your practitioner beforehand and they will advise accordingly.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Generally some sort of athletic clothing is usually best for all of our appointments at Health in Motion as our practitioners may need to assess you with movements. For hands-on appointments such as; Chiropractic, Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Ultrasound Diagnostics, Dry Needling and Sports Massage it may be necessary for our practitioner to gain access to the point of pain. Please note that although we will only ever ask you to dress down to something that you feel comfortable in, failure to gain appropriate access to an area of the body could hinder our ability to provide you with the best treatment possible. Should you have any concerns or further query, simply message your practitioner ahead of your visit for clarity.
Are there toilets?
Yes, we have toilets available onsite at both of our clinics near the waiting areas.
Is there disability access?
Our Surbiton branch offers step free access to all aspects of the clinic. Unfortunately, Guildford only provides step-free access to the gym floor but our treatment rooms are located upstairs so please book accordingly.
